The National Film Board of Canada and the David Suzuki Foundation are presenting a David Suzuki Virtual Classroom on November 13th and 14th at 1 pm in the afternoon. Last year a similar outreach included nearly 200 high schools from across Canada. During this session students can discuss the movie, Force of Nature, with David Suzuki and ask their questions.
Over the years Suzuki and his spokespeople have pushed an extreme view that planet Earth would be arguably better off if the human race, with its relentless consumption of resources, became extinct, says Terence Corcoran of the National Post. Just to ensure your school is not participating in this dose of new-age spiritualism and human self-loathing you may want to direct a question or two to your school's administration.
